Though we are past June this year and I'm typing this at the end of July, I really wanted to post about how important it is to be proud of who you are. As Lady Gaga has revolutionized the world with her song, "Born This Way", Long Island Pride is the perfect example of expression to remind ourselves that we are perfect just the way we are and that we truly are born to be the way we are - no matter what.
Farmingdale waited 2 years to premier their first PRIDE Festival & Parade celebrations due to the Pandemic. Plus the weather almost diminished things but thankfully the sun came out snd the showers vanished.
It was an honor to be asked to perform at Pride in Farmingdale, NY with my friend and musical artist, Alyson Faith, who whom also shares the same view on life for self expression, love for all and agree that love is love.
